Beliefs That Can keep You From Loving Yourself

There are many beliefs that are fed to us by society as well as our life experiences. Some of these beliefs can actually keep you from loving yourself. 

Loving yourself is extremely important for mental health. Margaret Paul wrote an article on mindbodygreen.com that discusses false beliefs that commonly hold people back. 

One belief that people have is that they are not capable of loving themselves because no one taught them how. Since they believe that they are incapable of loving themselves, they feel as thought someone else will have to do it for them.
