When a friend or family member has depression, you will most likely want to do whatever you can to help them. Depression is a mental illness that is hard to deal with, especially alone. Depression isn't only difficult for the person who has it, but it is also difficult for the people around them. Most of the time friends don't know what the best way to help is.
