How You Can Overcome the Break-Up Blues

Breaking up is never easy, and every one handles it differently. Breaking up during the holidays can be especially tough because there are some many things people want to do and experiences people want to share with their loved one.   2. Resist the temptation to talk unkindly about your ex-love
  3. Practice image replacement
  4. Consider social media 
  5. Try using a gratitude journal 
  6. Be careful of expectations 
  7. Make a new relationship checklist
  8. Guard against repeating the past 
  9. Hug and be hugged 
  10. Remain open to infatuation or even love at first sight
  11. Make plans with friends who are upbeat 
  12. Embrace laughter 
  13. Try mindfulness exercises
