The Effect that Depression During Pregnancy Has on Your Child

When pregnant your baby can feel all your emotions. According to an article by Caroline Brogan on, being depressed while pregnant can increase the risk that your child will have mental health problems. 

It is very common for women to experience depression during their pregnancy. The article further explains that the most common time to experience depression is during the end of your pregnancy as well as after you give birth.  

It is important to seek help if you are experiencing depressive symptoms during your pregnancy to ensure that you will have the best relationship with your child as possible. Simply talking to a therapist or finding the proper support system can help you kick your depression to the curb.
